Smoked Rocksalt.

What a surprise I had this month with my tasty parcel coming all the way from Sweden! It was filled with a fantastic selection of local produce for me to try, my favorite being this smoked salt. I had never even heard of this before but it is the best salt I have ever experienced. Ever. The smell is quite a shock to the senses as when you open it a strong waft of charcoal is released! -So good.

So what else did I receive in my parcel this month?

Kanolds Chocolates from a shop (called Kanolds) that was established over 100 years ago! They are delicious chocolates, very rich and creamy.

Dried hjorton berries.

My super amazing smoked salt.

Tranbär, which is a sweet cranberry soft drink.

A liquorice praline to symbolise the large quantity of liquorice in the local food.

Last but defiantly not least, I was sent some homemade 'Indian pale ale and honey mustard'. This is most delicious and sadly there isn't much left as I have been enjoying it on almost everything!  I was also sent a juniper mustard spoon to spread my tasty condiment with.

To see what I sent off this month visit Jennifer at Sliversceensuppers. Alternatively  if you want to know more about Foodie Penpals vist this Previous Adventure where I can explain the whole thing to you.
